Job Summary:
Seeking a proactive Release Coordinator to plan and manage application/software releases across business-critical systems in the Finance domain. The role involves coordination between development, QA, infra, and business teams in a high-compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute application/software releases across environments.
Coordinate with Project Managers, QA, Dev, Infra, and Business stakeholders.
Maintain a release calendar aligned with business and regulatory timelines.
Facilitate release readiness & go/no-go meetings.
Manage release-related risks, dependencies, and compliance documentation.
Track and report release status, issues, and performance metrics.
Ensure change control processes align with ITIL / ITSM best practices.
Collaborate with finance domain leads for system compliance and audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience:
3–6+ years in Release Coordination / Release Management, preferably in Finance, Banking, or Insurance.
Solid grasp of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, etc.
Familiarity with financial systems (core banking, trading, payments).
Knowledge of compliance standards: APRA, SOX, PCI-DSS.
Strong cross-functional coordination and scheduling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
ITIL certification or similar ITSM knowledge.
Experience in finance-related technology programs.
Exposure to cloud (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
