About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes to support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows.
• Automate data processing and reporting tasks.
• Implement best practices for data architecture and pipeline monitoring.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of data modeling and database design.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 2–6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
